Authenticity

authenticity,
is never the authentic debate
compartmentalised –
forced to fit different shapes
sharing of yourself –
somehow always late,
then,
somehow,
lost to fate
except,
i know fate does not exist
it is just your subconscious –
the silent partner –
that drags you along
making you sing a desolate song
the brain,
that demands certainty
yet there is none of that
there is fluctuations and chasms
and a certainty,
that there is something that life lacks
