Wrong With Me – Written Sunday 24th December 2023 (Aged 48)

^{Wrong With Me}

i spent so long –
looking for regulators
or trying –
to fashion one myself
the lows –
fueled with disproportionate boosts
i thought it was okay –
to wear a heart upon your sleeve
i never knew
i could not believe –
that in reality i was all at sea
and that there was –
so much wrong with me
so when i found a regulator
i know that it was key
and in truth,
it has been the making of me
middle aged me,
the one who is greying at the temples
and trying not to ache,
but i know it,
i know it was never too late
