Heart Shaped Happiness?

your happiness and good news post
is someone else’s loss,
for you it feels so rich,
to others,
it has an unbearable cost
i do not say,
never share,
but your good news narrative
for others,
well, it might be very hard to bear
i do wonder,
if people ever think,
or in fact even care,
i guess you are promoting a life
it’s the overriding needs to share
i sometimes have to look away
when people share certain things
their heart shaped happiness
is just a knife into my hopes and dreams
a reminder of my age,
the passing of time,
and the feeling that certain things begin to fade
but, pain, for everyone,
is often private and unseen
but these people sharing good news posts
they never see the pain of others,
or their hidden, but broken dreams
scrapped feelings,
lost hope and alter based kneeling
harsh maybe,
after all i can be happy for other people
but their lives…
well, their lives are narratives constructed
and i must confess,
i wonder about their realism
and their heart shaped happiness
