Derelict In Their Own Sand
people –
paid to shoulder responsibility
and,
take some kind of accountability
found,
found falling short
derelict in their own sand
missing,
missing the helping hand
smoke screens of opinion
exhaled into the blue sky thinking
no kindness,
and no solutions from the inside
this is how managers –
act in wild west saloons
these are their personality traits
dissolving in lazy afternoons
a shrug of shoulders,
and an excuse that is far too long
people,
people paid to shoulder responsibility
and,
and take some kind of responsibility
i found that they often fall someway short
but their plastic passive aggression
comes flying towards me us –
with an expectation that it will be caught
