Emotions As Fuel
emotions as fuel
thirsty,
empty tank,
emotions as decisions
but hard to turn the tank
risk taking,
with little to bank
have i always been this way?
a sore thumb –
caught in a milky way
an epitaph in gold
yet saved for another day
have i always been this way?
emotions as a dictionary
one with plenty to say,
rolling off the tongue,
when mischievous nature –
was pure and young
me,
always have something to say
but what would they say,
that in fact,
i have always been this way
emotions as fuel,
as need,
as a way home,
as something that i should believe
emotions can be cruel
but then
emotions have always been fuel
