How Did We Arrive Here
Internal affairs are competing.
Heartbeat — it’s beating.
Culture wars are never-ending.
The army — never depleting.
Morally, at this moment,
it all feels very fleeting.
A bundle of sociopathic behaviours
are holding big media —
and they’re in constant meetings.
How did we arrive here?
How did we arrive here?
Long red ties
that strangle our freedoms.
Human rights
left with open wounds
and never-ending bleeding.
The hope we felt back then,
when we grew up in the 1990s,
has proved to be less than fleeting.
It is clear
that there is a threat to how we live.
But over there —
the madness has become a collective.
How did we arrive here?
How did we arrive in this place?
How can it be that once,
everything seemed optimistic —
at least in the world we faced?
How did we arrive here?
Internal affairs are competing.
The media is constantly bleating,
distracting you from the truth,
telling you who to hate.
How did we arrive here?
How did we arrive here?
