Valued
Feelings of not being valued.
Feelings of not being wanted.
Feelings.
Feelings of not being valued —
they have a complex nature about them,
yet they are the simplest key:
the motivation, the job,
the way to feel free.
Knowing that you have no place
adds a particular sadness,
a tiresome journey plan to your face —
a faded travel sticker on your baggage,
your lifelong suitcase.
Connection is vital,
and the feeling that you somehow belong
almost, almost rights every wrong.
Because it is that which should be attained.
But when value is not there,
when there is no reassurance,
and they decommission support and care…
then I ask, what is there?
Connection is a must.
Just the idea of communication
builds — or starts to build —
a solid sense of trust.
