i have got to use time
there is not much at the moment
i am not, ‘blowing’, mine
for the sake of a lousy time

they would not believe me
who i wanted to be
who i was dreaming of

i was home early
she picked flowers in my garden
she was nothing more than a memory –
that simply did not belong to me

did you ever see me
see the time,
as it passes by so quickly
did you run,
just to get away?

oh no, not again
so much pain
such a freaky lady
i was jaded
she was crazy

i have been telling myself anyway
but i least expected it from you
after everything –
that we have gone through

you should have seen all the people crying
so many dreams given up
so many people dying

it can only get better
it cannot get any worse
dumped and rejected, no money
and i am starting to hurt
