when the world goes mad
there is always someone –
telling you how to live

i know some people –
have a terminal condition
and that contentment –
can easily be replaced by crying

let’s be alone
and appreciate who we are

the spear,
it’s packed away for good

sometimes the things i think of –
make me selfish

when the carriages appear empty
but when looking across the water
you can see plenty

every nasty remark you have said
and for a long time your bitterness –
has been my daily bread
