yet i am human
you talk of me growing up
yet you were not there

assessment only works on evidence
and the abused –
may abuse back
it is often true
there seems to be something you lack

i was not aware
that this is the way it should be
yet, i have settled down
content with my life and me

cannot stop thinking about you
which is ridiculous
and i know –
