a certain amount of insanity
always seems –
to bubble around me
uncertainty,

life is different
hanging on,
where will i be going
settee canoodling
giving way,
to post twenties doodling

this is my portrait
here it is,
somehow it is true
in the goldfish bowl
with its goldfish view
so,
pick a different view

don’t…
it is not fair
do not –
dive into –
the swimming pool –
of my imagination

i love people –
on different levels
and in different ways
i guess,
i have deviated,
from the one person,
one framework view

my writing is not depressing,
this is simply,
how we all think and feel
most people would rather pretend,
i seek to be real
