i have finally stopped arguing with myself
all those years,
of not wanting to be myself

Tumble – Written Thursday 19th October 2023 (Aged 48)

twenty something years
tumbled into,
thirty something tears

there are some regrets,
and some wondering,
but with you,
that has never been something

here i am,
time is fleeting
and every new moment
feels like a hurried greeting

we all come down the same line
born under –
similar factory smoke

humility,
has a reassuring hand on my knee
and sobriety,
in all its forms,
has been such good company (for me)

was i in a dream,
another being,
another time, another place
different objectives for me to lace

people,
rarely do they seems self aware
critical thinking,
the type of intelligence that they never wear

i get caught up –
in an endless tug of war
my eyes were weary
and my hands could not take anymore

we all live within our environment
not the moment,
it is a subconscious ident
