who am I?
i am the car crash
that no one would stop and stare at
i am that man
i saw wearing a trilby hat
he hung on for dear life
was he too late
to meet his wife
who am I?
i am the soap opera
no one would ever watch
i am the clock
that every now and then
comes to an unnatural stop
i am that man
i saw wearing a trilby hat
i saw him on the Underground
hanging on for dear lie
i know how he feels
and God it is so hard
and is any of this truly real?
