when we first met each other
you used to say the things –
you say about him
you used to say them about me
when we first met –
you used to use that voice
the one you use when he calls
once you had it for me
when we first connected
i just can’t decide
if I have bee replaced or rejected
i wasn’t even aware of an election
for this person now elected
your behaviour now
is no different to when –
the first time we met each other
