Taken For Granted

we never realise
how much
we are loved and cared for
till we throw it away
till we misuse it 
throw it around
and abuse it
we take for granted
what we think is always here
struggling to value love
and all that we can
i watch the crossing
for the traffic
that appears to come forth
how the love of strangers
becomes easily sort
