supergirl is all grown up
flew right out of our comics
she was alright, really fine
politically correct before our time
supergirl got married
to a superboy
she thought she could get it made
she swapped all her toys
and gave away all her tapes
had a little baby, who grew up
to be a super little lady
while her parents tried to save the world
from a green faced crazy

who wants to rule the world
just wanted to rule the roost
supergirl still had her cape
but now she used it to make toast
got a nice financial job in the city
saves the world as a sideline
soon the super little lady
will be a teenager
and she will see the world
can be so full of danger
but super dad will be there with supergirl
unless they divorce,
which will be hell
but still, supergirl is all grown up
and doing very well
