Careful Not to Fall Apart

i am probably
more tired than i should be
strange,
then that i should be enjoying
looking after,
managing a team of people
i am probably
more tired than is healthy
pushing hard
being careful
not to fall apart
the sleep seizures do not find me
(although they always do in the end)
let me shape
my own future
rather than accepting
the shapes previously
presented to me
let me be what i want to be
rather than previously accepted
versions i could never quite see
i am probably
more tired than i should be
