Seen Them

See Them

seen a has been
seen a dream
but never the hope
not in liquid crystal form
seen a driver
seen a swimmer
if they had been a touch slimmer
they might have made it
but they were a thinker
not the all time drinker
seen a beach
in the middle of desolation
i have seen a treat
would have walked across broken glass
and risked my feet
all they had to do, was ask
seen a has been
but that has not been me
seen a dreamer
i guess that is reality
