Childhood Reflected
you are the reflection
of a childhood that let you down
emotionally
you remain unsound
more lost,
than truly found
you are the reaction
of love never quite given
acceptance never told
taking second best
and accepting the cold
you are the reflection
of a teenager,
who never found their way
or friends and relationships
that would have set you free
just a human being
looking for their identity
