Where is Our Communication?

i want to talk to you
but you are in the distance now
what happened my friend?
where did it end?
now, when you look at me
i want to talk to you
you got closer than you will ever know
you got closer than most
i want to say what i mean
but when the fish starts to sink
you know it is living a dream
you have been growing your hair
it seems to make you look even better
than when i really wanted to care
i want to talk to you
but despite their being thousands
i do not know what words to say
i do not know what to do tomorrow
let alone what i should do today
