Women are ‘Emotional’

if you are a woman and express how you feel
you are, of course,
‘being emotional’
if you are a man
then it is just, ‘personal’
this is the juggernaught of micro aggression’s

let the male,
pat you on the head
whilst wearing a sign saying –
should you not be at home making the bed, instead

actions speak louder
than words
and that one is truly heard
what is wrong with emotional
of course it denotes,
female stereotypes
the trope of ‘women’ being, ‘irrational’
because rationality is king and kings are always men

but all these things are
simply not true
i think we should all carrying on being emotional
caring versions of me and you
compassionate versions of us all
