Some People Do Not Ask How You Are

some people
do not ask
how are you?

yet these people
claim
to be the helpful
the dedicated
and the caring

some people
come good
some, just never would

i wonder
what is wrong with people
i wonder
what is wrong with me

i am a cocktail
of life experience
that is sometimes hard to swallow
and if there is a meadow of misery
sometimes it is hard not to wallow
but give me your hand
