no matter
what i say

the splatter
on the emotional platter
or the ongoing clatter
of clogs and –
engines whirring away
it does not matter
what i say
hope grows fatter
as cynicism flies away
a love of life gets visions
until depression has nothing to say

the clunk and the rattle
of the ongoing battles
