its corners where people meet
the bars and the coffee shops
where people rest their feet

my life is your farce
entering stage right
leaving by the left
consumed by stage fright
of great lines, we feel bereft
my life is you first date
the clothes we choose
the timekeeper of fate
the start,
we long to find and trace
