he was better than me
that he made you feel,
feel like a woman
and you say that i am not a patch,
a patch on him
that i have no redeeming qualities
you take every chance,
as a chance to put the knife in
but you did not complain,
when you wanted to sleep with me
when you wanted to feel special
because life can leave you feeling cheap
well i was good enough for your bed
