A Supportive Frame

do we think fame
is a supportive frame
do we think compassion
is in a deep depression
with a curved compression
do we think fame
is a supportive frame
from which,
a mention of pain is diluted
and all cliches are convoluted
we reach,
from the improbable cliff
eating lunch,
getting drunk,
on the heady delights of being liked
do we think fame
is a supportive frame
