Out of the Dark

out of the dark
someone turns on the light
in the middle of a nightmare
it does not take long
before the bedside lamp turned on
and the room is alive
and as the light floods the room
there is someone special by your side

in the middle of a storm
as the rain comes down
as wretched tears flow
you can take a look around
and someone brings the sun
out of the dark
someone turns on the light
