Time Stealer – November 1998

Time Stealer

time stealer
hiding under my bed
holding my head
time stealer
took what i should have said
took away my legs
but didn’t take away my beg
time stealer
hiding behind my door
tip-toeing across my floor
trying to get hold of me once more
just like before
time stealer
deceiving my eyes
in all our lives
the unseen monster that lurks
feel its presence but never sees
time stealer
seems to have a thing for me
talking away time
time stealer
is it taking yours as well as mine?
