captain of the pirate ship
keeper of those keys
owner of these knees
of words –
that occasionally bleed
a rising star –
on the back –
of those beliefs i have
in my fists they reside
tearing up the tapestry
that hangs inside
owner of these teeth –
the explorer –
of unknown sheets
a blind date –
which i will never meet
a shepherd in this county
keeper of these keys
owner of these things
the palace of bring and buy
and you can only bring
