who were you
in a past life incarnation
battle bnd proud?
leader of a nation?
who are you now
superficially right
yet somehow pitiful
as she cries in the night
battle band proud
speaking free and seeing far
who are we going to be
the future generation
the faraway sea
what do we do now
beat our chests and scream a little?
follow you till you admit –
you are lost too
battle band proud
but too proud to admit,
that you do not know what to do
