Thatch, Cob and Lime
it is,
not such a bad place
as it is,
placed somewhere
below the expanse of north devon
the locals,
think it is too local
but then,
some of them are too vocal
it has,
funny, old fashioned streets
and buildings
that in another town,
would have been swapped out
for a failing,
inner bypass or inner ring road
its very nature
of feeling left behind
means time and in turn beauty
has actually been very kind
thatch, cob and lime
brick, sash and roads that wind
it is a place
that has its own charm
and its own form of beauty
