Undiscovered Gold

my frustration
stems,
from the way,
women,
shamelessly put themselves down
after reading,
more celebrity culture bullshit
the world,
where everything, ‘fits’
but in reality, it is all enhancement,
tucks and lifts
and my frustration
stems from how there is,
‘men’ and ‘women’
and they are the identities we wear
we reflect,
a media world
that screams through screens
and that is how we are told
you and i,
are not puzzles to be solved
or stories that have to be told
we are,
just undiscovered gold
