Changing the Script

it cannot go the same way
everyone knows the script
well i am trying to change it
i do mean,
for things to end up as they do
guess that is why i am keen –
to make something of me and you
i really want to be with you
i want us to have a chance
i may be crazy in the head
but i feel that is needs to be said
i have never,
stuck out in a relationship
that i have not been in
i am not just after anything
i want to give it a go
if it does not work, well,
at least we will have tried
it cannot go the same way
a hate fuelled glance across a club
i am trying to change the script
