So Here We Are

so here we are
standing in the cold
trying to keep each other warm
so here we are
it is almost like a dawn
a new chance
it is almost like nothing else matters
of course it does
but here i am, far away
without any rough notes
nothing to refer to
just us, here on our own
so here we are
got to be something
got no new coat
but i do not need anything
standing here, i am okay
so here we are
looking at the day
