Words Are Easy (Promises Are Harder to Keep)

there is no creativity
in, i love you
that is not the heart singing
that is lazy,
and it shows something is missing
if you are adored
the feelings should be like a city
they need to be explored
words are easy
promises are harder to keep
there is no sentiment
in just saying, i love you
it is like smoking
iit is just something you say
and though it is well meant
you can be on forty a day
word are easy
promises are harder to keep
everyday should be different
what you feel should be alive
it should grow
and is should change
so just forget, i love you
tell me how it drives you inside
