No Reasons – Written Saturday 1st April 2006 (Aged 31)

No Reasons

sadly, he did not leave you
because you have a ‘disorder’
that child like view
although, ‘appealing’
ultimately shows the true nature
it is quite revealing
sadly he left you
because human beings are complex
and often with no reason
or even no rationale
as an adult and through life experience
you understand this
if you are still the scared child
six years old and waiting
emotionally never having moved
i guess that is how you would feel
sadly that is the painful truth
the realisation that those
who are meant to protect us
often do not, and sadder still
there is no reason
not even rationale
