why does this hurt so?
i lean on my spirit
and i pull on my rope
of inner hope
why does this hurt so?
clenched fists –
gritted teeth
and cries of frustration
why does this hurt so?
give me van gogh
to paint my landscape
give me john lennon
to recite my life poetry
give me my love
to mop out my sanity
may picasso
dissect my insanity
why does this hurt so?
