Fascinated

i am fascinated
by their psychology
it is horrible
but strangely compelling
the clumsy emotional shifts
so very telling
the stumble and then a few steps
then the falling
like the animal newborn
like when it first opens its eyes

i am fascinated
by what they try to hide
you put on a show
then the denial
because they did not want people to know
i watch them
with little emotion
we have gone through the lies
the pretence and the fantasy
the reinvention of their inside

i am fascinated
by their psychology
