This is possibly my earliest kept writing pad. It’s 28 years old and I was 17 when I was writing in this pad. You can see i have scribbled the date on the front and I have called it ‘The Worded Girl’. I had a pen friend (remember those days?) at the time and I think a lot of these were written for her or about her and possibly i sent some to her. I was extremely young when I wrote these and the idea of writing or writing poetry was not really on my mind, that would come later.
