Silence Speaks Up

the silence speaks up
it raises its hand
and it is shouting aloud
it is not alone
in a busy crowd

the silence speaks up
and it speaks volumes
it is the bible –
of unsaid truth
it is the tiles
the beams, the roof

the silence speaks up
and glances just agree
it knows the answer
that we left
with the pasts sweet dancer
the silence knows all
it is not alone
it knows the truth
that we do not need to clone
