Ability Takes a Detour

i have lived this life
the best i can
ability has taken a detour
that i do not understand
i know i am more than this
but let us just leave it for now
i know that somehow
that those needing grace
cannot be saved

i have lived this life
put early days in a grave
sold off relationships
that i should have saved
i am fine today
and today i know i can survive
you tell me i will be fine
so it is you keeping me alive
i have lived this life
the best i can
