Two O’Clock in the Morning
two o’clock in the morning
not a time to look at your life
look outside instead
look out of your window and search for light
UFO light comes a calling
two o’clock in the morning
and i know where it is open
only the vivid imagination of my brain
look inside for a train,
a train of thought to take me away
destination, another day
two o’clock in the morning
only early risers come calling
as the drinks start falling
seaside is inside of me
and this victorian town breathes slowly
of some things we are never free
and this place really grips me
its claws are in deep
two o’clock in the morning
and you know what, i can’t sleep
