Ever Changing Circles

it was them and us
then them and me,
then it was dark
then i could see clearly
it became hard,
so difficult,
i am sure it will be again
but now it is new
and now it is fresh
like me and you

it was them and us
then them and me,
once it was an eclipse
soon though, we started to see
it has been strange
at times almost lame
took charge of a situation
and caught the blame
the different patterns
that start to meet
