Did You Notice The New?

did you notice the new?
hiding in the shadows,
but waiting for me and you
it came looking,
no fee and instant
strangeness is a friend
did you notice the new?
it was talking
walking with me and you
we do not have to be beautiful
we do not have to be right
just be strong,
to handle all this change
when the new comes along
did you notice the new?
it noticed me and you
and it notices our thoughts
and saw that they were coming true
