Crowd Pleaser (Crowd Leaver)

i entertain a crowd
and i am good at it
i love to show off
i am funny,
and i love making laugh
there is a high,
and sense of delirious power
when i stop,
and reflect though,
i do not like myself
and i regret
and then,
i just want to be left alone
i say, i do not want it
and i push away
then i am the centre of attention,
i spot my chance
my chance to verbally interact
then i am back down again
and pulling apart my self respect
