Light Hearted has Not Departed
light hearted –
has not departed
the cowboy truths –
are not stifled
and the conscience –
remains the same
it is not insane
the lamp still stands
the people understand
the smile is still there
it has grown with age
magic carpet thoughts
with every page
i am still passing –
and i am still laughing
light hearted –
