My Writing is Not Depressing

my writing is not depressing,
this is simply,
how we all think and feel
most people would rather pretend,
i seek to be real

it is not how well,
you front it out,
but rather how you close the door,
tell me what it is all about
tell me your actual thoughts
and tell me about your actual feelings

do we go through life,
trying to convince others
that we have the perfect well being?
so this, this always,
what i really feel
and what i really think
i am no less happy,
just accepting,
that are all so close to the brink
