Cross Legged on the Sofa
i imagine us –
cross legged on the sofa
laughing,
being together
i never thought –
i would imagine –
those thoughts again
not in a way –
where it seemed likely
or just comfortable
sometime ago,
it would have been inconceivable
somehow we fit –
and get along
these thoughts scare me –
and tear and claw at my mind
am i correct –
or am i just blind
it feels healthy
and it feels good
i imagine us –
cross legged on the sofa
