The Next Phase – Written Saturday 28th June 2008 (Aged 33)

The Next Phase

the nest phase
i feel it coming on
i had better get changing
some people will be gone
time for rearranging
it will will not be long
i have tried to run a marathon
with my laces tied
i have tried to laugh
when i should have cried
the next phase
i know it is here
and it may be painful
i had better get changing
of life’s next events
there is no escaping
and every action is meant
time i must be chasing
the next phase
