being in love with you is straightforward
i do mean it is dull –
or very bored
no,
nor do i mean it has the touch of a convenience store
but it is,
without question straightforward
it is not about agendas
and the goods we can claw
the devil here is not in the detail –
over which we endlessly pour
it is not perfect
and perfection only exist with requisite flaws
but it is,
without question straightforward
there is none of that madness –
that others seem to hold
it is without complication
that tells me i am sure
being in love with you is straightforward
